The market will be doing a series of Saturday classes during the winter months.  All of the events are free and start at 11:00AM  Here's the next one.

January 31 Tamales!!! This isn't your standard tamale demo. There will be no masa harina. We   will be making all the masa from scratch using organic corn and showing a couple of options for grinding it. This will be a hands-on demo where everyone will help assemble them like a traditional tamale party and everyone will get to bring some home.

February 14: Traditional Bavarian soft pretzels. The pretzel demo will focus on use the traditional lye-dip vs. the more common baking soda boil.

February 28: Pierogies! Hosted again this year by Ashley Shaw, manager of the Downtown Farmers' Market on Public Square.

March 7: Calamari! Don't let calamari intimidate you. Learn to make perfect, non-rubbery calamari in your own kitchen!

March 14: Smokies!

March 28:  French Toast Breakfast! Not a demo, but you'll want to save the date! This annual fundraiser supports the market and will feature local maple syrup and lots of other goodies. Stay tuned.
